Blacksparrow is excited to present the “I Love Lucy” collection, featuring original costumes, props, manuscripts, photos, posters, costumes sketches and autographs from Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, and memorabilia pertaining to one of the most beloved television series in Hollywood history, The “I Love Lucy” Show.

Six decades after The I Love Lucy Show debuted, Lucille Ball’s legacy lives on in not just syndication, but also in the influences she exerted in entertainment and popular culture. From saving Star Trek to crafting a model for future sitcoms, Lucy was a true renaissance woman.

In addition to being a gifted entertainer, Lucille Ball was also a marketing genius and formidable businesswoman. She brilliantly leverage the popularity of I Love Lucy and parlayed it into multiple lines of merchandising, including apparel, toys, dolls and novelty items.

This collection includes private correspondences with other celebrities such as Doris Day and Barbara Walters, legal contracts for Desilu Productions, screen-used props and costumes, limited edition porcelain dolls, vintage key book photos, costume sketches by Elois Jenssen, personal mementos, and much more. This is a wonderful opportunity for Lucy fans and Hollywood collectors alike to acquire a piece of important history.
