Vintage custom-made blue and white with gold tassels band leader-style jacket worn by Rindy Ross of Quarterflash at the Us Festival in 1983. Designed by fashion guru Margi Kent, who also designs clothes for Stevie Nicks and others. The Us Festival was sponsored by Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple, and organized by Bill Graham. Held on Labor Day weekend 1982 and Memorial Day Weekend 1983, the Us Festival was Steve Wozniak's vision to leave behind the "Me" generation of the 1970s and usher in a more community oriented 1980s. Thus the "Us" Festival. The two event dates featured dozens of artists and bands such as The Police, Oingo Boingo, Santa, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Fleetwood Mac, INXS, The Clash, Mötley Crüe, Scorpions, Van Halen, Berlin, US, The Pretenders, David Bowie, Willie Nelson, and many more. Rindy Ross's jacket exhibits moderate age, but remains in very good condition. Donated by Rindy Ross of Quarterflash. 100% of the net proceeds will benefit the Jeremy Wilson Foundation.
