HEARST, William Randolph. (1863-1951) American newspaper publisher who built the nation's largest newspaper chain and a profound influence on American journalism. This brief, undated, handwritten note is addressed to Joseph Connolly, president of King Features Syndicate. In it, Hearst praises Connolly’s new reports and old-fashioned ideals. Handwritten in ink and continued on verso, on Ritz Tower, Park Avenue letterhead. Octavo, exhibiting some foxing and water stains. Fair condition.
