Seeking a real getaway in a sub-tropical setting? Savary Island is a perfect destination for you. Savary Island boasts the warmest water north of Mexico (thanks to the warm southern tide and shallow waters) and a ring of gleaming white sand beaches. Even the trip to the island is like a mini holiday. Enjoy a relaxing drive interspersed with 2 ferry rides along the sunshine coast and a water taxi that takes you to the island. No need to take your vehicle as a land taxi (truck) will pick you up at the dock and take you to your door.
Enjoy biking the miles of roadway and trails (very few vehicles on the island).
Spend hours beachcombing the beautiful sandy beaches, digging for clams, and crabbing.
Enjoy a short 10-minute walk to South Beach (the most popular sunbathing spot) or a short 10-minute walk in the opposite direction to North Beach where you can beachcomb and watch the breathtaking sunsets off the dock.
The cabin is available mid-June to mid-July for seven (7) days during which you will enjoy sound sleep in a cabin that comfortably sleeps six. Fitted with solar and propane systems, it is easy not to miss electricity. There is no TV, but neither is there time or desire to watch it while at Savary.
