The Fun of It: Random Records of My Own Flying and of Women in Aviation, Amelia Earhart’s copy with her bookplate and signature, as well as the signatures of other early aviatrixes.

New York: Brewer, Warren & Putnam, 1932. First Edition. This copy bears Miss Earhart’s Ex Libris label “From the Library of Amelia Earhart” on the front free endpaper and her signature in blue ink on the frontispiece verso. Octavo (8 ¼ X 5 ½ in., 209 X 140 mm).

218 pages. Brown cloth, front board and spine lettered in white. Very Good, with slight sun fading along the spine, and slight handling. Priced dust jacket exhibits fading along the spine, creasing and edge wear, and paper tape reinforcement along the folds on the verso. Endpapers toned. Includes the recording in the rear pocket.

The book includes the signatures of four important early female aviation pioneers: Katherine Stinson, Ruth Law, Bobbi Trout, and Neta Snook Southern, who taught Ms. Earhart to fly. Also signed by Muriel Earhart Morrissey, sister of Amelia.
