Hi, my Name is Delaney Ferguson. I am fifteen years old and this is my fourth year in the Armstrong Beef 4-H Club. This is my Market Steer Project Mickey. He is a registered Hereford steer that I purchased from Copper T Ranch in Fraser Lake BC. Mickey has been a really neat steer to raise and he’s a great eater! He’s been fed free choice grass hay and a great grain ration from our local Sure Crop Feeds Mill, and spends his days enjoying the sun with our small herd of 7 cows. In 4-H, I really enjoy the judging and volunteerism, and the opportunities it gives to be out and meeting new people in the Agriculture industry. I had three projects this season with a heifer and my first cow calf pair and I was looking forward to the show season. Of course with the current situation around the world, that will have to wait for next year and has also brought a new way of selling my steer. I hope you will consider supporting the online sale by purchasing some tender prime beef! I would like you to know that I have a processing date available if you would like to use the booking.
The sale of this year’s steer will help me grow my herd and to feed my first homegrown steer calf for next season!
