The Founding Fathers made an appropriate choice when they selected the bald eagle as the emblem of the nation. The fierce beauty and proud independence of this great bird aptly symbolizes the strength and freedom of America. Harper native Travis Amick created this burnished stainless steel metalwork of the eagle which is 25” in length and 15” wide. Travis hails from Harper but now lives in Las Vegas and still continues to create these beautiful metalwork art. The piece is weatherproof and is three-dimensional with the black eagle image on the forefront highlighted by a multiple colored lightening background with golden swirls and lines that shine and vary depending upon the angle the artwork is viewed from. There is a hanger on the back of the metalwork for hanging, if desired, or it could be easily mounted on any flat surface. The eagle also comes with an indoor flag pole and American flag. Donated by Veteran Advocates of Ore-Ida, Travis Amick and Judge Frank Yraguen and Patty Yraguen.
